Meet John Cavedo
Before establishing 360 Enterprises, John served as the President and CEO of Plasan North America, Inc. (PNA) for five years. Commencing as the VP of Programs and Business Development for a year, he swiftly ascended to oversee all aspects of the company’s performance and growth in North America. As CEO, John effectively managed a workforce of more than 100 people, steering the company through various strategic initiatives. A notable achievement was orchestrating the consolidation with sister company Plasan Carbon Composites, Inc. (PCC). Subsequently, he crafted a meticulous wind-down strategy for PCC, saving over $20 million in anticipated future losses and safeguarding Plasan’s brand reputation. During the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, John led PNA to surpass its annual profit targets. Additionally, he positioned the company to secure a long-term agreement contract exceeding $300 million over five years—a move set to quadruple PNA’s annual revenue, marked by an $8 million Capital Expenditure (CapEx) expansion.
In addition to corporate achievements, John collaborated with two Washington D.C. consulting firms to navigate the intricate realm of congressional lobbying. With their assistance, John briefed numerous members of Congress resulting in specific FY2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandates, as well as additional targeted congressional appropriations enabling his company to bridge the quintessential “Valley of Death.”
Prior to his private sector corporate experience, John served in the U.S. Army with over 30 years of distinguished service, retiring from active duty as a Colonel. During those years, he rose through the ranks, initially enlisting and serving 3+ years as a Military Policeman stationed in the Republic of Panama. After his enlistment, John joined ROTC, completed an undergraduate degree in Political Science, and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer. Over the ensuing 27 years, his roles spanned from Infantry Platoon leader to a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha commander to Project Manager of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV), and ultimately Chief of Staff for an Army Program Executive Office. Operational deployments in Europe, Africa, and Asia, including service in Iraq and Afghanistan, highlight John’s extensive experience. Holding a Master of Science in Strategic Studies, a Master of Arts in Procurement & Acquisition, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, John’s educational background complements his practical expertise in leadership, strategy and program management.
